About Me

Sara, originally from the Boston, MA area, graduated from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2012 with a BFA (honors) in Theater Arts with a concentration in stage and production management. At UArts, she had experience in many areas - small plays, large musicals, festivals, new play development, dance, and festival work. Prior to attending UArts, Sara was involved in school choir, marching, and concert bands.

 

Select professional opera credits include: The Barber of Seville, A Coffin in Egypt, Dark Sisters (Opera Philadelphia, ASM); La Cenerentola, Dialogues of the Carmelites, L'elisir d'Amore, Rinaldo, Owen Wingrave, The Magic Flute (Curtis Opera Theatre, ASM); Eugene Onegin, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Carmen (Aspen Opera Theatre Center, SM).

 

Select professional theater credits include: An Infinite Ache, Spring Awakening (Theatre Horizon, ASM); Comedy of Errors (Philadelphia Shakespeare Theater, ASM); Realm of the Unreal (Philly Fringe, SM); Insomniart Festival (YeuxVeuxBelle Theatre Collective, PSM). 

 

Select stage management credits at UArts include: Chicago, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Anton in Show Business, Follies.

 

Sara is currently the assistant stage manager for Opera Philadelphia and Curtis Opera Theatre (The Curtis Institute of Music).
